A Seminole County man, 42-year-old Michael Jones was arrested and charged with animal cruelty, domestic battery by strangulation, and criminal mischief.
According to Police Jones became enraged when his live in girlfriend and or daughter began smoking crack cocaine. During his fit of rage Jones freaked out and said he was going to kill her dog.
According to Sott.com Police also said Jones, grabbed her dog and started swinging the animal in the air adding that Jones then beat his girlfriend with the dog.
After chocking his girlfriend, he fled with the dog before being arrested. He remains in Seminole County Jail.
