Global Warming debunked? With billions of dollars having been spent by the United States alone in global warming research, it is clear the government takes this issue serious. Just ask Al Gore.

In research done by German Scientists, evidence has been found suggesting the planet experienced hotter summers than we see today.

The research team used data from tree rings to support their case that we are in a cooler period than years past.

The Dailymail reported Lead author Professor Dr Jan Esper of Johannes Gutenberg University in Mainz said: ‘We found that previous estimates of historical temperatures during the Roman era and the Middle Ages were too low.”

Global Warming debunked?

During the warmer time of the toga-wearing Roman times the temperatures were apparently 1 deg C warmer than now.

The research has produced the first reliable reconstruction of the climate in northern Europe over the last 2,000 years dating as far back as 138 BC. The reconstructions correlate with the annual summer temperatures established by the tree rings.

Esper later went on to say that “Such findings are also significant with regard to climate policy, as they will influence the way today’s climate changes are seen in context of historical warm periods.”

Maybe this new discovery can explain why the vikings called the area of Canada that they landed “Vineland”. Viking history describes an area west of Greenland, as Vineland. Vineland because of the grapes that were in abundance. Problem with that theory is Grapes don’t grow in Canada because its too cold.

The cooling trend is attributed to the gradual changes in the position of the Earth relative to the sun and an increasing distance between the Earth and the sun.

With the extreme heat in the United States many have begun to believe that it is because of a Global Warming trend caused by Greenhouse gases, that are man-made.

  You don’t get it, do you? No one is saying “global warming is a myth”. They dispute whether the warming trend is natural (Indeed, cyclical), or man-made. Stop being sheeple.

Let’s stop referring to it as “global warming,” because every time it’s cold outside some dumbass says, “where’s this global warming.” It’s “climate change.” The ice caps are melting at an incredible rate. Glacier National Park will have no glaciers in probably 25 years or less. The ice caps reflect about 90% of the sun’s energy. If those ice caps aren’t there, the sunlight beams into the deep dark ocean. That darkness absorbs the heat, causing warmer oceans which causes more powerful hurricanes. There have been really powerful hurricanes and severe tornadoes in the past, but the frequency of these powerful storms is unusual and a direct result of climate change. Mouth-breathers can say it’s the End Times all they want, but for those of us that believe in science and logic instead of fairy tales would like to see changes made. We’d like to ensure our planet is here for generations to come. This country must lead in the movement to decrease carbon emissions and find cleaner more efficient fuel. It amazes me people with kids don’t care about this stuff. If it isn’t enough incentive to save the planet, fat ass Republicans should know that the high number and severity of droughts seen in the past two decades affect crops. Crops equal food and we all know how much you love food. Also, the bee population is decreasing rapidly due to climate change. We can’t live without bees people, unless you plan to pollinate every plant in the world yourself. Wake the hell up people.
