People in attendance at a Davenport Iowa Airshow were watching a 3 aircraft formation when out of no where one of the plans began to lose altitude and crash into a nearby Alfalfa field.
The Pilot flying the Soviet made L39 was unable to eject and died on impact.
Nobody on the ground was hurt, but thousands of spectators saw a huge fireball go up from the site of the crash.
