Indianapolis resident Joshua Stryzinski has plead not guilty to charges of neglect after leaving his 4 month old baby Chloe in his car for several hours, when temperatures reached triple digits.
Joshua who is 18 told police that he became mixed up, believing he had left 4-month-old Chloe with a friend before he drove to his parents’ home and went inside without her.
In the 911 call you can hear frantic screaming as the baby is discovered not breathing, and having third degree burns on her legs. The baby eventually died at a local hospital.
According to the autopsy the third degree burns came from the scorching heat which is believed to have reached 119 degrees in the car.
Joshua is being held on $50,000 bail.
