Mystery Japan Crop Circles on the ocean floor off the coast of Amami Oshima in Japan have been discovered by Yoji Ookata a veteran Scuba diver who says he has never seen anything like this in all his 50 years of diving.

The “Crop Circles” are more like sea floor circles instead of Crop Circles but whose keeping track? So what kind of artist is behind these mysterious circles on the ocean floor?

Yep you guessed it, a male Puffer fish who was carving out the circular grooves and ridges to a attract female puffer fish to the dark seabed so that the two could mate and lay eggs in the center of the circle. Well that explains that. Who knew the Japanese delicacy was also such a great artist?

Yoji Ookata and his team spent hours on the ocean floor hoping to discover the culprit of the circles, that is when the male puffer fish made his appearance finally giving explanation to the sea floor crop circles. Thank You Yoji for finding this information out!
