According to New Haven, Connecticut authorities, in a failed theft attempt, Lowpel Davis bit a wig store owner’s arm and spat his flesh back in his face.

Lowpel Davis entered Sassy Beauty Supply Shop with an intent to steal hair pieces, and according to the Huffington Post, when the owner, Jongyol Lee, and his 70-year-old father ran after her, Davis punched them both in their faces and bit Lee’s arm so hard that she tore off flesh and then proceeded to spit it back in his face.
When Lee recounted the incident to WTNH, he stated that:
“The length of a full block she just kept hitting me and smacking the back of my head. She kicked me a few times in my back.”
When police caught up with Davis and tried to apprehend her, authorities stated that she continued to flail on the ground and act irrationally, even after she was handcuffed.
This incident of eating human flesh is just one of many that have sprouted throughout the country. As more and more incidences of cannibalism and human dismemberment come about, the question remains as to whether there is any truth to a zombie apocalypse that may already be upon us.
According to WTNH, while Davis initially reacted in a crazed manner, she appeared calm in court, and seemingly unaware of the anger she stirred.
