18-year-old Michael Smeriglio was cleaning his brand new gun on his lap when it went off hitting him in the Penis.
When Police arrived Smeriglio told them he was shot while walking down the street. Upon further investigation police say they discovered that the teen was lying, and he admitted to shooting himself.
According to 10News in Tampa Bay Doctorssay the bullet went through his penis, his left testicle and then lodged itself in his thigh.
A friend of Michael who is also the homeowner of the residence where it happened was arrested on Marijuana charges.
