A sunspot on the far-side of the sun exploded on Sept. 27th, sparking a bright flare of extreme ultraviolet radiation and hurling a massive CME into space.
No reports of the size of this just yet. Also, do not worry it was on the other side of the sun it poses no threat to us here on Earth.
