TLC’s Half ton Killer highlights the murder trial of Mayra Rosales the half ton woman accused of killing her 2-year-old nephew. Rosales confessed to killing her nephew alleging that she rolled over on to the boy crushing him.

Rosales who weighs 1100 pounds says she rolled over on to the boy and could not move. But even after her confession some did not buy the story because of the autopsy results which revealed the boy died of blunt force trauma to the head.

Mayra later admitted that she made up the story about killing the boy to cover up for her sister who had hit the young boy in the head with a hairbrush. She said she lied for her sister because she feared that her sister would be punished and lose the other kids.
