A Satirical Article posted by the Daily Current has set off a Twitter firestorm causing confusion between truthful outlandish remarks and factual ones.

When Missouri U.S. senate candidate Todd Akin made his controversial comments about rape victims 2 weeks ago many assumed that he would watch what he said in terms of risky statements.

According to Daily Currant, The Senator has struck again claiming that male homosexuality is a disease that the medical establishment has found the cure.

This time in an interview with KBSI 23 News he said that “female breastmilk – when fed directly to an adult homosexual male daily for at least four weeks – has a 94% chance of permanently curing homosexual perversions.”

He later added ”Lesbians can be cured by drinking something else.”

After his controversial rape comments many suspected that the senator who has been in office since 2001 and is running for re-election would withdraw his bid but he chose to stay in the race.

He later went on to say that he misspoke when he said that legitimate rape victims rarely get pregnant.
