Morgan Freeman
The seventy-five year old Morgan Freeman is not putting down President Barrack Obama, but he is simply letting American’s know that America has yet to have its very first black President.
He believes that the Republican party is giving the President an unfair misrepresentation. His comments were made in an effort to put silence on the birth certificate issue, that continues to surround the President. This is why he takes time to remind people that the Presidents mother is white, and from middle America Kansas.
In a video interview with NPR Mr. Freeman said ”First thing that always pops into my head regarding our president is that all of the people who are setting up this barrier for him … they just conveniently forget that Barack had a mama, and she was white — very white American, Kansas, middle of America,” Freeman said. “There was no argument about who he is or what he is. America’s first black president hasn’t arisen yet. He’s not America’s first black president — he’s America’s first mixed-race president.”
