A new species of monkey has been discovered in the Congo. The Monkey known as the Lesula Killedas has a very close resemblance to a human face in a close up.
The Lesula is only the second newly discovered monkey in Africa in the past 28 years; the other was the Kipunji in Tanzania.
According to Plos one open access Journal the new species of monkey was originally discovered in the Lomami Basin in central Democratic Republic of Congo.
