If there was ever a spider that would cause arachnophobia, it would be a new species of spider that was discovered living in Oregon caves.
The new spider which is being called a Trogloraptor (cave robber in Latin) which catches its prey by hanging upside down from small strains of silk.
Professor Charles Griswold, curator of arachnology at the California Academy of Sciences said there is still work that needs to be done to understand the spider fully but he believes it uses those hooks in a way to catch its prey.
Griswold compared the discovery of the new arachnid to finding legendary creatures like Bigfoot.
