Nike is about to drop the latest, and most expensive basketball shoe on the market. A pair of Lebron X shoe’s will set you back about $315.00 if you should want a pair. Begging the question is any basketball shoe worth $300.00?
The shoe which was unveiled at the 2012 London Olympics will include motion sensors in the shoe to track various metrics including how high the player jumps, all you will need is the app to receive the data.
Nike will make about 50,000 pairs of the Nike Plus-enabled LeBron X’s compared to 200,000 of the non high-tech version of the shoe which will cost around about $175.00 for a pair.
Back to the question is any basketball shoe worth paying $300.00 for? Well I guess when it tells you how high you jumped than maybe it is!
