In what appears to a big hit to gender equality a recent study indicates that marriages where women do the chores are more successful.
The study done by Norwegian researchers discovered that families who follow the traditional model of marriage opposed to the modern model of marriage have a higher chance of staying married. Couples who share chores are more likely to end up in divorce at some point.
The divorce rate among couples who shared housework equally was around 50 percent higher than among those where the woman did most of the work, The Daily Telegraph reported Thursday.
Maybe this means that men might need to pick up the slack in some areas they are lacking as well?
