NYC Police shot homeless man’s Pitt bull image from gothamist on Twitter
On Monday afternoon a Homeless man was having a seizure on a New York City sidewalk when Police were called to the scene.
Once the cops showed up to see what the man’s condition was the pitt bull became protective of his owner witnesses said. As the police get closer to the man, the dog frantically charges towards a woman, then towards the cop.
The officer acting on instinct discharges the weapon striking the dog. Once shot the dog whimpers around on the ground for several moments before going silent.
The dog actually survived the shooting and is currently in critical condition.
