According to the New York Post, the Obama Campaign bribes Jeremiah Wright, who is infamous for his passionate sermon, of which ABC aired, where the pastor screamed, “Goddamn America!” In Wright’s own words, one of Barack Obama’s closest friends offered him a lump sum of $150,000 indirectly by way of a member from Wright’s church. The pastor, who was highly publicized during the primaries in Iowa and threatened to derail president Barack Obama’s campaign, claims that after the media hysteria, he received an e-mail offering him money and requesting him not to preach until the November presidential election.

Obama Campaign Bribes Jeremiah Wright – Wright’s Conversation with Obama

As the Obama campaign bribes Jeremiah Wright for his silence, in an interview with Edward Klein, Wright explains how the president himself wanted to meet Wright in secret.

“Barack said he wanted to meet me in secret, in a secure place. And I said, ‘You’re used to coming to my home, you’ve been here countless times, so what’s wrong with coming to my home?’ So we met in the living room of the parsonage of Trinity United Church of Christ, at South Pleasant Avenue right off 95th Street, just Barack and me. I don’t know if he had a wire on him. His security was outside somewhere. And one of the first things Barack said was, ‘I really wish you wouldn’t do any more public speaking until after the November election.’ He knew I had some speaking engagements lined up, and he said, ‘I wish you wouldn’t speak. It’s gonna hurt the campaign if you do that.’”

Obama Campaign Bribes Jeremiah Wright – Negative Impact on Obama Campaign

While no one from the Obama campaign has responded to this report, the allegations of bribing the pastor for his silence could be quite damaging to the campaign, in which president Obama’s platform is of an honest transparent government that is moving in the direction of change for the benefit of the people. According to Wright, during the alleged discussion between the president and himself, the president said

“Do you know what your problem is? You have to tell the truth.”

In response, Wright said

‘That’s a good problem to have. That’s a good problem for all preachers to have. That’s why I could never be a politician.”

While it is unclear if this supposed story holds any validity, if the story is found true and the Obama campaign bribes Jeremiah Wright for his silence, it could have detrimental consequences to the presidents campaign.
