The subject of Medical Marijuana is a hot topic for some states. When it comes to the Republican stance on Medical Marijuana the Presidential Candidate Mitt Romney, and Vice Presidential candidate Paul Ryan appear to be split on how they want to handle the Medical Marijuana issue.
In an interview with Colorado station KRDO-TV, Republican vice presidential nominee Paul Ryan said “My personal position on these issues has been let the states decide what they want to do with these things,” he explains. “This is something that is not a high priority of ours.”
Republican Candidate Mitt Romney has gone on record telling a CBS Colorado that Medical Marijuana is not a significant issue in America. Later saying that Medical Marijuana should not be legal because he believes it is a Gateway drug.
