According to the Daily Mail, Pauly D has been named as one of the world’s highest paid DJs by Forbes magazine, after making more than 11 million dollars last year, proving that all of the GTL (gym, tanning and laundry) went to good use.
Pauly D showed up up seventh on the lucrative list, an honor he does not take too lightly. Pauly says this legitimizes his career as a DJ, “Everybody was skeptical at first, because how everybody heard about me is probably from Jersey Shore. But now I’m six seasons deep in the show and I’ve been touring all over the country, touring with major pop acts and stuff like that. That legitimizes everything, and they’re starting to say, ‘This kid isn’t just a reality star, he’s an actual DJ.’”
As Pauly D’s career continues to sky rocket, he has been opening for big names like Britney Spears for her Femme Fatale tour and scored a solo reality show on MTV called the Pauly D Project. The 31-year-old is beyond excited about his continued success as he tweeted to his fans, “FORBES LIST !!!!!! Top Ten Biggest Earning Dj’s In THe World !!!!!”
