A home in Alpine Utah, was sparred as a fast-moving wildfire burned the outlying area and left the home and its lush surroundings virtually untouched.  The fire has consumed up to 5,000 acres in less than a day, as it continues to rage.

The fire which as been named the Quail Fire, began Tuesday afternoon. Investigators believe the fire was man-made, and created by a heavy equipment operator working on the nearby Rodeo grounds.

According to the Salt Lake Tribune said  the Loyal Clark, public affairs officer for the U.S. Forest Service, said the fire was zero percent contained by late evening. A team was in place creating fire breaks, while helicopters and planes also battled the blaze.
