A Six year old Chinese Girl with half of her body covered in fur may finally have a treatment. Liu Jiangli, suffers from a rare condition leaving her covered in black fur.
She was born with a rare condition which covers 60 percent of her body with coarse black fur on her face and body.
The six-year-old Chinese schoolgirl has finally been offered treatment by specialists in Shanghai who will attempt to cure her of the condition.
Both of the girls parents abandoned her at two years old when they dropped her off at a nursery and never returned for her.
She has been teased all of her life for her rare skin condition, and doctors are optimistic they can help the young girl out.
Nobody knows exactly what has caused her condition but say, it is very similar to a syndrome known as Hypertrichosis Universalis, which leaves sufferers covered entirely in body hair and affects just one in a billion people.
Thanks to the Dailymail.co.uk we have been told that a fund has been setup to help aid her treatment that can be reached via their website www.ccafc.org.cn or alternatively ccafc@ccafc.org.cn.
