A 16-year-old boy Bede Vanderhorst, and his family were denied boarding access on an American Airlines flight because the pilot deemed him to be a security risk.

The Central California family decided to buy a first-class plane tickets for the first time but were denied entry onto the plane because their son has Down Syndrome, they claim.

The Airline claims Bede was acting excitable in the New Jersey terminal having him deemed a security risk.

After having been denied boarding Bede’s mom Joan quickly began to videotape the incident on her cell phone capturing the denied access on her cell phone. The family plans to sue American Airlines to send a message to the company that this kind of treatment is not going to be accepted.
