Varsity Football Player William Jackson Houk Assaults Teammate. Making headlines today is the arrest of a Westminster School Varsity Football Player, William Jackson Houk, 17, charged with aggravated sexual battery against a teammate in Atlanta, Georgia. Specifics relating to the October 22 incident remain unknown, but it has been reported that the assault occurred in the gym shower and was later investigated after rumors made their way to campus officials.
The Westminster Schools, according to their site, are a co-educational Christian day school for grades Pre-K through 12. According to Daily Mail, William Jackson Houk, a varsity football player at Westminster School, turned himself in to Atlanta police on Sunday and has been charged with aggravated sexual battery. Aggravated sexual battery is one of the state’s ‘seven deadly sins’ for 13 to 17-year-olds that came into effect in 1994 and means offenders must be tried as an adult. School officials are being ‘fuzzy’ about the incident. In Georgia, aggravated sexual battery code 16-6-22.2. is intentionally using a foreign object against a victim without the consent of that person. The stiff sentence carries the possibility of life in prison.
