In a shocking video of Walmart animal cruelty taken by an investigator hired by Los Angeles-based Mercy for Animals, puts Walmart on the hot seat with claims that the company buys pork from alleged animal abusers.
The animal welfare group is accusing Walmart of animal abuse. The group has released a controversial undercover video showing horrific conditions at a pig farm that supplies pork products to Walmart. The farm that has been accused of the animal cruelty is Christensen Farms, located in Minnesota.
In the investigation, the pigs were seen living in crates the same size as the pig. Baby pigs are also seen having their testicles removed without any anesthesia, and farmers killing the baby pigs by slamming their heads off of the concrete, as they die a slow agonizing death.
The farm has said that blunt force trauma is an acceptable form of death at the farm, but they have now moved onto using Carbon Dioxide.
Animal Rights Host Bob Barker hopes to shed light on the animal abuse and help force Walmart into discontinuing business with the farms who commit such acts of cruelty.
