Space Shuttle “Endeavor” was flying piggy back on a modified Boeing 747. The Shuttle made its final farewell after taking off from Edwards Air Force Base in the Mojave Desert flying over Sacramento’s Capitol, sailed over the East Bay then looped around San Francisco’s Golden Gate Bridge, supplying plenty of pictures for sightseers.

The shuttles final location will be at the Los Angeles Museum where NASA hopes to inspire young minds for years to come..
