With the recent discovery of 49 headless bodies found along a stretch of Highway that connects Monterrey Mexico to Texas, it serves as a reminder to Americans what is going on just south of America. The mutilated bodies “scattered in a pool of blood”—some with their hands and feet “hacked off,” according to the Associated Press—were discovered by local authorities on the edge of the town of San Juan on a road that connects Monterrey to the Texas border.
The Organized Crime group taking credit for this crime is Los Zeta’s, just one of the Cartel’s doing business in the area along the American border. The Zeta’s did law enforcement a favor by tagging “100% Zeta” on the crime scene. It is uncommon in Mexico for Drug Cartels to frame other Cartels for their dirty work, because they want to be infamous, and known for their brutality.
What Americans should know about the Mexican Drug war is that, it is not the Mexican people who are savage ruthless killers, but victims in their own land of a Mafia stronghold. An organized crime institution that has no conscious, and employs the Youth of Mexico as their foot soldiers to profit on needy American Drug Abusers.
With Mexico literally spiraling out of control the killings, and ruthlessness is building right at the Southern Border of the United States. Building so much right now, that the most deadly city in the world, is Ciudad Juarez. Juarez lies just across the Rio Grande from El Paso, Texas.
What Americans should know about the Mexican Drug war? The Control the Cartel has can be seen in the video below
Mexico’s Presidential Candidate Andres Lopez Manuel Obrador of the Democratic Revolution Party, has said if he wins the election in July he would stop the American War Against Drugs, citing that it simply is not working. He wants to focus on creating jobs for the citizens, giving the youth, and the people outlets to the Drug Cartel’s. This however is easier said than done, of course.
Southern states like Arizona, and Texas have stepped up immigration laws because their states were becoming gravely affected by the explosion of Cartel activity that has been picking up. Phoenix, AZ went from a modestly low crime rate to a city, to a city with the highest kidnapping rates in America. With the influx of Cartel activity came the illegal substance Methamphetamine, which is easily produced in Mexico and brought into the United States.
The brutality and violence that Americans are seeing, and hearing on the News is not a product of Mexico but a product of America’s consumption of illegal substances which is continuing to grow. With Meth usage on the rise in the United States major drug busts in Mexico are all to common. Even Giant Drug Busts of over 15 tons still do nothing more than provide road blocks for the massive amounts of drugs being supplied for the United States, and World Community.
The Mexican Government is up against an Organized Crime Institution that is just as powerful as the Government itself. The Sinaloa Cartel being lead by Joaquin “El Chapo” Guzman is just as powerful as any governor in Mexico. All of this is occurring at the Southern International Border with Mexico. This wave is slowly trickling into the United States, and it appears to be encountering resistance from American Authorities, but still not enough is being done.
What Americans should know about the Mexican Drug war?
All it takes is for any American to head to the International Border with Mexico to see that the pressure is mounting. When Americans from all over come to an International Border Crossing with Mexico, they will see that the Border Security on both ends Mexico, and America have a large job on their hands.
For the most part almost all of the Mexican citizens, that come to America have honest intentions. But just like Terror cells in Iraq, and Afghanistan these drug lords, and their foot soldiers are embedded among the people making it hard to tell, just who these guys are.
The Department of Homeland Security, and the Border Patrol all have very important jobs at the present time protecting the border. They will need strong funding leading forward, as this Organized Crime Institution in Mexico continues to grow and flow into the United States with its Criminal ways.
One must ask how long it will be, before the United States will have to send National Guard Troops to our International Borders, and even potentially go into Mexico to curb this problem that is mounting against the innocent people of Mexico who are being killed by the thousands yearly.
