Why was Flavor Flav Arrested? Flavor Flav was arrested early Wednesday morning in Las Vegas after he allegedly threatened his fiance and her teenage son with a deadly weapon.
Flavor Flav is accused of getting physical with his fiancee and then threatening her son with a knife. During the altercation, the fiancee called 911. A call came in to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department around 3:30 a.m.
According to KTNV Channel 13 Action News Flavor Flav whose real name is William Drayton, now works serving food at a concession stand in Blondies Sports Bar & Grill at the Miracle Mile Shops.
Drayton will make his first appearance in court at 7:30 a.m. Oct. 18.
He is being held on $23,000 bail. Flavor Flav who rose to prominence as a member of the hip-hop group Public Enemy, most recently stared in the reality TV series “Flavor of Love”.
